  •  currently reading The Hexologists. It's cool but there were two jarring misspellings that stick in my teeth, kinda. (One was 'retched' rather than 'wretched,' and it's like, the vocabulary and writing is so good I don't understand how this happened. Oh well. I mention stuck in my teeth because it doesn't actually matter for the quality of the book yet it sticks in my mind.)
  • And listening to "I hope this finds you well" on audio. I have THOUGHTS about this contemporary humorous romance. Ok. On the whole, I like it, but I yell at the main character a lot.  I can no longer relate to her particular raging insecurity, which is cool to realize, and she made baddd choices about things and people forgave her too easily.
  • I do not like the  chocolate hazelnut coffee. the other flavors are good but this tastes like creamer and dust. it's like the creamer cancels out any of the flavor? Even the coffee-ness? and it's already just plain creamer - not vanilla or anything
  • currently playing Echoes of Wisdom. Honestly having a good time with that. I think I might have picked an easy difficulty level and If so I do NOT regret it. The bosses do not want to make me throw the controller - I might get a LITTLE frustrated but then I win! -  and ty is watching from the corner sometimes and offering compliments and suggestions and 'huh, that's an interesting choice!'  There are a lot of 'i wonder how other people solved this' moments.  I like how in this game and the other recent zelda games there really isn't any concept of cheating. If you think of an easier way to do something, great! Do it the easy way! (Like, instead of climbing up a mountain, you can use an 'ascend' ability to go through it.  But in Echoes of Wisdom, instead of figuring out how to jump these platforms, you make a flying tile and hop on it and soar over the whole mess.)
  • I found a footrest with heat in a closet and I forgot to turn it off on - um - thursday, so it's been on for a while, and everything is fine first of all and second of all it's warming up my feet so nicely.
  • more later. at work, but just had random review things to write about
