I point out the Funny Numbers because this week is fkn bonkers, starting with DEVELOPING NEWS:
Next major topic about this bonkers week:
Local Vote tomorrow. I made a punnet square on acid about potential results for the 4 major issues.... I also got brunch mocktail stuff (spicy hot v8, sparkling juice) because that's what you do after an election.
This week is also the outer limit of when I expect to hear about a job I applied for and liked.
other stuff that is medium major:
- I saw an ancestral medium on saturday! it was cool/fun. Half of my brain is watching for the scam, but the other half is just going for it. maybe more on that later.

- We put an offer on a house!!!!!--
Anka called it a sneaky house: because we first thought 'yeah, it's pleasant, it's fine' then an hour later we were like 'I wonder what I'll put in the bay window.' IT SNEAKS UP ON YOU WITH ITS PLEASANCE. It is sort of the Dan of houses: in great shape, not real exciting, but warm and safe (awww).
Consider: 1. in great shape: A lady bought it as a foreclosure and fixed it up VERY WELL. Dan and Anka were like 'wow, everything was done properly.' New kitchen, floors, roof, water heater, pellet stoves. Super clean and dry.
2. not real exciting: It's not that boring, I'm being dramatic about it! Also I told my friend Joye I can "alice it up" and then i got excited. It's a 1980s cape-style (rather than farmhouse or chalet). It has hidden character depths, tho. (more on that later)
3. warm: 2 pellet stoves! It's like a fireplace that you just turn on instead of starting fires. No reliance on gas/propane during ww3.
4. safe: It's in Brattleboro which is so LGBT friendly and artsy. It's burlington-lite. It's in a nice litlte neighborhood like ours now, but this one is full of pride flags.
bonus points:
5. Ecofriendly: wood pellet = pretty sustainable, Eco water tank/heater, and charging port for electric car.
6. Smaller but adequate yard, and across from woods + community garden, MANY trails nearby, access to all kinds of new areas to explore without being totally out of my sphere
(As house, I would be one with both problems and character!).\As the story develops we will update you; for now sources are keeping mum in order to preserve the luck.
