this is what I was bracing for

Mostly that subject line refers to "I knew this year was gonna be wacky because of Senior Year shenanigans" but I realize the subject line is also true re: politics. AND that's all I'll say about that. 

I wrote out what the next weekends are like for our household - and even though Anka is our roommate and friend, I have to remember that what she's doing doesn't necessarily affect what we're doing, but I still put it on the thing.

So it's like this:
- This coming weekend (mem day): brother arriving to help clear out storage unit; anka going to paint her new house if all goes well
-  May 31, anka goes to cleveland (sounds like an adventure) and one of my kids has haircut
- june 7 - ty graduation & inlaws in town
- June 14- dan going camping out of town, 
- june 21 - (take ty to camp on june 20) invited to a social gathering in worcester 
- june 28 - Rock Swap (something fun)
- July 3 - get ty from camp 

That's every single weekend, but it's not really as insane as it feels. It gets better after June 10.
I am going to work on a list of  'things meg can do while home this summer.'  She has one week of camp toward end of july, but summer is like, 8 weeks.
