One kind of nice thing is that I HAVE to stay organized along the way. I am capable of this, but I can start throwing papers everywhere when too much happens.
So with HR I kind of have to slow down and do one thing at a time. My old jobs, i was doing the work of like several people, so speed was of the essence and details mattered less. In HR, details are very fucking important, so slowing down and double-checking is not a luxury - it's an essential. (This is still a bit of an exaggeration -it's not that i never double-checked things before, but like if I thought I should run a flyer past someone and they weren't available and I'd just push it out because my communty stuff was frankly a little less urgent than whatever people were working on.
Now if I need to double-check something and someone's not available I wait.)
