(no subject)

• this week they're deep cleaning our office for the first time in maybe 10 years (nobody remembers the carpets being shampooed) so we're all working from home. It's the week of the 4th anyway, so lots of folks are working less anyway, including me.
  • I have Major Dental Work tomorrow - extracting 2 teeth & prepping an implant. 
  • Thursday is Ty Camp Pickup Day.  As of yesterday he informed us he loves camp and has been having a great time. <3  Came a long way from crying every day for the first 4 days. 
  • So ultimately I'm working Today and the Second and half tomorrow.
• Over the weekend our Polak moved out (she says yes it's the correct term to use, nonderogatory unless you make it a Thing or mispronounce it) and so today is quiet af. 
  • We have half the quanity of cats we had 2 days ago!
  • So, downstairs is a bit bereft without Ty, Anka, or of course, mom.
  • BUT I get my guest room/office back
  • which works out for this week.
• Anyway i brought laptop, work hotspot, lifter, keyboard, mouse and wrist rest, and a couple papers. 
  • And ADHD medicine.
• Although I usually prefer not to work from home, being at an actual desk  and kind of lined up ergonomically helps a lot, as does the adhd medicine. 
• What does NOT help is "The World's Most Annoying Cat" aka Mercury, who is very confused why his buddies aren't here, but also thrilled that I am here, and he's bored as hell.
  • I have a Sphero robot from 3 years ago and found a program online called Cat Mesmerizer so I would like to run that and keep the cat busy, but the online program didn't copy/paste into the app well, so I have to write it, but I can write SOMETHING in block-code.
• Also, I had to Set Up the workspace, and also had to put sheets on the stripped bed, and do laundry while I was on the subject, and did some online shopping, and of course take breaks to cook lunch, play a game, and write this!
• However, it's going better than usual.
