Nov. 15th, 2024 12:46 pmI have seen 2 main types of posts on facebook. The ones from people I think are conservative voters saying 'can't we all just get along' and ones grieving the loss of women's rights and LGBTQIA rights.
I can't say it on there, and I won't say it right probably anyway. But those issues are symptoms and not the disease; what I am upset about is seeing everything I've learned about world history come to life; about how dictators can come to power, and set cabals, and refuse to leave, and how very hard it is to shake that loose. This is why we claimed the Iraq war in 2002 was justified. (we meaning our government, not meaning me and you.)
and that's bad for basically everyone, including but not limited to people with uteruses.
Each of these terrible appointments, each worse than the one before (impossibly), is typical of a Mad King.
