I did have another kinda fragile day yesterday and a friend who was nice to me made me cry then i cried again laughing about it to another friend.
But i'm so fucking grateful to have friends, wherever they live <3

I got irrationally mad about not being able to find any chapter beyond chapter 3 of the novel she's spent years trying to get published. I need to keep looking for that but also move on to the other book.
I thought this article about being an adult orphan was really good and referenced the complexities - like, this is a Thing but yes other people may have had it worse especially if they're younger, but that doesn't make it not a Thing,
Ty had this therapist who worked with him on 'how big is this problem, is it the size of an ant? a beaver? a lion? a mountain?' We humans struggle with right-sizing that, I think. We think Problem is binary - you have one, or you don't.
When "My Mom died yesterday", the problem was mountain sized. Now that it's "my mom died two weeks ago," it feels like it should be a smaller problem. I guess it is. I'm going to trail off on this topic because I remembered what i was gonna say before...

I had covid, and I was depressed and anxious, and maybe also 2024 wanted me to brace myself or have no expectations. IDEK.
