Desk Ergonomics Quest
In an attempt to unfrick my neck and shoulders and also deal with my wiggliness and apparent need for proprioceptive input, I've made some desk changes! I have a storage box from TJ maxx where I put tampons and vitamins and other 'personal supplies' that don't fit in my single desk drawer. It doubles really well as a footrest if I want to press my knees on the desk! And my hips are no longer mad at me for constantly sitting on my foot.
I also got a 'posture trainer' from CVS to try to reduce 'wearing shoulders as earrings' - it's basically a harness for your shoulders and if you start hunching em forward it starts pulling back (elastic). Ultimately, might that make my hunching muscles stronger by resistance training them?
I used washi tape to outline where my notebook is supposed to live and have other 'holders' (like the cat post-it holder and the tissue-box holder) so I don't feel like a mad scientist throwing things around my desk anywhere.
I also cleaned and organized, and ordered cork strips, because I have way too much unused real estate of walls up there.

Ups and downs regarding the holiday! A colleauge and I decorated the office on Friday afternoon and that was nice.
