Jun. 20th, 2023 08:17 am They're paving at the office, which means a) loud and b) limited parking. Yesterday they were doing the driveway right when I was gonna go TO the office from one of the schools, soooo had to find somewhere else to be. I picked my daughter's school, because she wasn't there at that time so no distraction :) and also because they're doing a big project and it's getting emptied out. I can help with that but need direction.
Same with today.- parking seemed very stupid at my work again, and I don't need to be at the high school, and meg has Field Day but is anxious about it, so I can work from her school and wave to her for Field Day. And I can be another pair of arms for moving stuff.
But mostly it's quiet this week for my schedule. I exist. People have exams, I work till next Tuesday and while it's amazing to have a summer break (and terrifying), it's also like .... i cannot believe my kids are still in school!!! snow days are a factor but other schools who had just as many snow days are done, so....
Bank accounts are getting light, but I get my 'balloon payment' soon, which I had withheld from my checks all year to help tide me over summertime, and I really don't know how much it is. I could look at my withheld and multiply it, I guess. Dan gets paid Friday, and that's good too, so if we are careful we should be ok. Only 2 mortgage payments without my income.
