I still sometimes feel ripples from when we moved - ripples of doubt and regret, but in between the ripples is, uh, the opposite. confidence and faith, or something.

Coming up on FOUR YEARS of leaving our home.  Thursday, Rotary was very pleasant, and it's funny to think of service clubs as MLMs, but there you go.  And I'm realizing that in 4 years, even though COVID was a giant speed-bump in meeting new people, I still did, and I have some local friends!

On the other hand, I drove past a playground in the rain and cried because the kids are getting too old and too big and they would have used playgrounds during covid but they weren't allowed ;/ and saw the big old baseball fields and felt all sad that 'it's not for us' to play sports, but then dan reminded me 'they still play if they want to, my parents MADE me do sports and i hated it' and then I remembered even though meg's 4h coding club didn't 'take' yet, ty's art club at school is going well for him.
more later maybe!
