- my hands are cold.
- the light is flickering.
- the sun is bright, and in fact I had to put my shawl on my cube wall to block out too much sunlight for a minute, but the angle changed and it's less bright. le sigh
- I broke a tooth this morning
- the Ty is continued sad and feeling life is pointless
- in other 'reasons to worry about ty' territory, I did an assessment with someone on his team for his functional living skills and I had been TRYING to tell the team that we need help in this arena, so we did the test and I got to go through a list of things that he can't do on his own yet. Hey, the good news is it means that once it's documented there's a need, then it can be worked on, I guess? By someone other than me & dan?
The bad news is sheesh. And hey, there are some things he can do.
- I got further down because I know there's a whole swirl of enablement happening - where he doesn't HAVE to learn some things because we do them - but after 15 years you get tired of tired of trying to teach the same thing and prompt the same thing. That said, I am down in the dumps about how I could probably have done a lot of things better so far because look at the mess we're in.
-I probably need to quit reading books or watching shows that take place in other times because I keep daydreaming about simpler times and having totally different problems.
BUT on that note:
- we finished the show Outlaws, which is So So Smart. it's on Amazon Prime. often very funny,
- am reading gideon the ninth and now it's moving along. i got a lttle stuck the first time I tried; i was in the first chapter and I had no idea what was going on. I kept working on it this second time and stuff got a little clearer.
