Apr. 1st, 2019 02:17 pmI'm fighting a germ! and I worked a bit extra on Saturday night, on Friday I was half working - i went to first robotics to check out the 'competition' that's a pun
so anyway i'm tired and my face is hot and my throat is sore. and mentally i'm like did i work enough extra to justify time away?
it doesn't really matter i guess, i know i put in enough time in general trhat i wouldn't be seen as a slacker as long as i get everything done that needs doing. and if i feel crappy i should rest.
House updating: my mom is digging our bathroom redo :) I just did small things like ceramic flowers & an accent mirror & sconce plant holders (air plants coming today!) and i hope/think it tied things together. The house is kinda retro so the Project 62 line at Target or Modrn line at walmart are good for it - brass, wicker, etc.
Dan got rid of a couple trash bags worth of crappy toys (happy meal related maybe) and the upstairs playroom has a FLOOR now, that's amazing.
Last, i sort of wanted to add a little office on the landing, dan says it's too small to do that, i think it could be done; but regardless i ordered some nice peel & stick wallpaper to tie together 2 colors & cover up the gross old sponge painting on that wall. So that's a start. I can still daydream about having an office space at home (or really just a space of my own within our house) and meanwhile at least i can keep prettifying things.
