SKUUUUUUUNK
Feb. 6th, 2019 10:53 amhouse got superskunked again. Like SUPER skunked. It's like sometimes it's not full-blown? And then sometimes you get the extra burnination?
I actually got a phone call. To bring my kids. Fresh Clothes. Because they stink.
Work is near a discount store (gabe's) so I picked up new clothes for us all (one outfit for each of us) and Axe spray and Rosewater spray and Febreze and facewipes and lotion. Upon arrival at the school Ty changed his shirt, megan wouldn't change and the aide doing the sniff-test said it's mostly meg's hair so I rose-water'ed her hair, axe'd ty (coff coff), rosewatered my own hair, face-wiped their faces necks & hands, and changed. My purse, car, coat - ty's coat & backpack - meg's coat & backpack - are all culprits.
I think time, laundry, and incense will help. Ultimately this has thrown off my day because i am at work, but i accept the necessity of taking care of stinky children (and me too).
I have a lunch meeting so i expect i'll smell like fries after that, and then a coffee meeting, so I should be ok for my meeting date people.
Trapper is coming on Friday.
I was trying to drive with my windows open, but it's cold. Also I febrezed the car and have little lemon cookie wax melts, but, uh, very limited progress.
