recovering but woozy
Jan. 28th, 2025 07:38 amIt's such a goofy word, but I'm weak and dizzy still.
Sunday was my Actively Sick day and today is Tuesday and I'm stillll recovering. stomach is still sensitive. it burbled in protest at a half-cup of coffee and a small croissant. Sorry, stomach. I am trying to drink Gatorade and/or water but I guess it's not enough.

Anyway, that's the mental state I'm in, but I hauled my ass to work for some reason. Who knows why. I may go home early but if I feel crappy enough to need to go home, at that point should i even be driving, so. why.
--_And I'm trying to make a decision about something but My head's not on straight.
Aunt Susan is in home hospice with about 3 months (hereditary pulmonary fibrosis). This is obviously a blow. She lives in Florida somewhat near my in-laws. My brain association did this:
- dan is going to see his parents end of february, should I come too so I can give aunt susan a hug? If i do that, I have to bring the kids?
- dan isn't into that because he was hoping fora simple trip but I asked him about that before I told him why
- my brother is going in 2 weeks
- should i go when he does
- should i go at all; are my reasons right, am i like 'hey florida trip,' will it be too sad, if i try to enjoy it is that okay too, will my brother bring me down more than i can handle, will seeing her bring me down more than i can handle, will i regret it if i don't
So, I don't know about any of that because my brain is mush (WHY AM I AT WORK. ALICE YOU DUMBASS). But I also figure if I can find a not-too expensive flight and split a hotel with my brother i can spare the money and time, so that's a starting point.
