Hi
that was a  "not too angry, just tired" kinda scream. 

 Upcoming Festivities:

• Dan's Birthday is Today
  • we got him a (small) electric snowblower (it can clear 13" height of snow)
  • He requested French Silk Pie; I got frozen Marie Callender pies
  • Yesterday i took the day off for taking meg to dentist - picked up Good Croissants and lattes for early birthday gift
• Our anniversary is next week (Tues?) the 29th
  • I ordered a kosher dinner from Goldbelly (brisket! matzoh! kugel! babka!  no pickles, sadly)
• My friend is staying with us for a night or two?!!? She has a 2nd job interview an hour south.
• Halloween
  • Meg wants to be a scene/goth girl
  • Ty at this point is talking about wearing a high-vis vest & construction hat and being 'a guy that sneaked in'
  • we'll wander around our neighborhood, hoping for good weather (it's been crazy good)
• My birthday
  • I ordered Xero boots! i like my xero flats ok. The boots should arrive this weekend.
  • Sounds like Dan & Meg are up to something, hooray!
  • Also my birthday is election day.
  • Also on the 1st I'm taking the day off to take Ty to a college and then talk to a service provider.
• Thanksgiving
  • Renting an 'artist minimansion' in North Adams Mass. It's very pretty, and not far away, and near some stuff the kids like.
• Friday the 13th
  • Quick getaway to Providence (low-key hotel, word-of-the-year workshop, zoo lights, mall)
• Xmas/NewYear
  • will probably travel to Cleve. I think i want to rent a cabin so I can bring the cats, OR we can stay in Dawn's house for free but would need cat-sitter, OR I was thinking 'in the city' would be fun. (Because lights. and Activities.)
  • It's a 9 hour drive. (or 2 hour flight + 2 hours to New England airport (Hartford probably) + 1 hour from CLE to house + airport time + cost of flight)
  • Oh. 9 hours is really long for us to bring cats anywhere. It can be done, but not worth it!
  • So we don't, actually, need to book anything to make this happen other than Make Cat Plans. The rest is all 'preference.'
  • So hopefully i can line up a cat sitter or service or something for however long we go. Needs to be more than 2 days to be 'worth the drive
