Day 3 adhd med, work, maybe sick
Sep. 16th, 2024 07:56 amHello hi, it's monday.
It was a medium kind of weekend besides the medicine experiments - groceries with ty on saturday, driving around exploring adventures with meg in the evening. Great stuff.
Unfortunately meg didn't sleep a wink on Saturday night, so she was cheerful and manic sunday morning and sent dan and i out on a date saying 'i'll be fine' so we went (twist our arms to go on a date), and I finally took dan to the dino museum 90 minutes away (small, but so nice), and she started to crash. however we were gone so long the crash became a nap, but when we came back she was kind of an anxious mess. So a couple hours of that and she improved as the evening went on.
She has been fighting something. we got a note that there are all kinds of germs out there - flu, covid, strep, colds- plus allergies. so we kept her home thursday when she had Waterfall Nose, but today she was extra puny and warm but not fevery, and headachey, and snifflly. Dan and I also feel kinda achey in the head/joints. Meg covid tested negative, but her friend was over last week and she tested positive right after. We decided to keep meg home - in spite of the fact that she wanted to stay home. You know what i mean.
My shoulder ache and backpain can be explained (swapping mom's mattress with meg's? that's heavy. Driving 3 hours? Sleeping wrong?) but my headache is less explicable. So i'll keep to myself and take it easy.
That said the ADHD experiment has a new variable introduced of not feeling my best, and also I'm at work. Also I'm not noticing the focus-on-one-thing-at-a-time ness this morning, and I THINK i remembered to take the med. Yeah. I did.
The Meg has therapist appt today, but considering she's home sick, I might go to the appt for a check-in about her.
