(no subject)
May. 14th, 2024 03:37 pm today:
1. Yes, it's ok to be tired. what else is new.
2. increasing dose of a medicine - that may help.
3. the imposter syndrome is strong today because I'm thinking about the 3 -4 things I HAVEN'T done - the same things - and I keep doing OTHER things, and making progress with the other things, and then those 3-4 things just sit there. And I know that. And then people say 'you're so busy you do so much' and i think about those things on my post-it, collecting dark energy.
I might have more to say later but wanted to have a Quiet Moment with the dreamwidth first!
I'm going to do one of the 3-4 things now, wish me luck!
the things, btw, are calling 3 to 4 families that might need extra help. The 4th one is new so I don't feel bad about it yet. One of the 3 is apparently really needy and I don't have a full game plan yet but when i pick up the phone and introduce myself and listen we can make one. I defensively say to myself that at least the 2nd one has my info and can call me back. the 3rd one i think has my info but i have theirs too.
Honestly it's just calling some strangers and i apparently am putting it off because nervous, feel guilty for delaying, and have OTHER THINGS i'm doing. So. This is the thing I currently suck at, and it's okay to not be good at everything.

also, do you guys think about growth mindset much? I keep trying to be kind and say "I can do better, i can learn from this."
Update 2: i did the 'needy' one and went to her vmail and sent an email. Now I just need to check in with # 1 & #2 (and #2 has my info). #1 might have my info. IDK.
