ow and ugh

One of the things I do for work is get things from a central distribution place to the different schools (it's weekend bags of food for kids). (Also I pack the bags with helpers).  So in the transporting process we got me a collapsible cart I can bring in the car!   But you have to lock it in place, like how you lock a table.  I forgot to do that, so when I hit a crack in the sidewalk the cart collapsed, and I continued my forward momentum and bruised up my shin pretty good.   Just scrapes and bruises. So Friday I was trying to keep it elevated and it's a lot better today. 

On the other hand, also friday, I came down with some splotches (hives but they look different) on my stomach and arms, so they're not fleabites.  It got a little worse so sunday I stopped in to the walk-in care to say 'is this allergies, scabies or what' and they said 'rashes are weird, please take some benadryl and prednisone but it doesn't look like scabies to me.'

So I hope it's neither contagious nor anything serious. 

Anyway, my face is hot because of the prednisone, and I have a killer headache, and I have minorly itchy arms.

Also we had a 2 hour delay for the kiddos. Except girl kiddo is going to stay home all day because she is still coughing and did not sleep a wink last night. 

I need to call somebody for her because she is pretty sure she has an eating disorder, which you may know I've been concerned about for her.
On the other hand her friend came over and they had a delightful afternoon together being 6th grade girls, a little light necromancy and insults and giggles.  

At this point I'm considering giving up on the day and taking a sick day, but I need to check in here and see what's going on and grab laptop at a minimum.
