i felt a little better about writing everything out the other day. felt little bit better about being overwhelmed.
i'm glad i watched like 2 episodes of marie kondo because that's helped me say Thank you goodbye (next) to my clothes, shoes, books, birthday cards.
Things that brought me joy, meant something to me, but that i don't actually need to have in my house or physically in mmy life. Every now and then i tell the kids to take a memory snapshot about something and tbh that's probably wise.
When the digital apocalypse happens i'm gonna miss all the books we donated but till then i don't need a hundred paperbacks. We don't need fifty board games.
Don't need our lawnmowers that need to be fixed, or the couch we hate and want to replace. MAY not need the drumset we don't play or the piano. (It'd be fun to keep both for jammin though!)
