workforce mobility
Aug. 9th, 2019 03:36 pmso i'm kinda involved in that these days - getting people to get to jobs -but the other connotation has to do with changing jobs and i'm kinda involved in that personally as you know.
i'm not freaking out today and that's nice. Also my eyes aren't puffy and that's a good surprise! I dreamed my car slid on snow and I crashed and died and woke up with a POUNDING heart, that sucked. I think I apnea'd and then it caught up?
So i was up a BIT early.
Have had more very good, balanced talks with husband. nobody is perfect but he is ALWAYS on my 'side' and sometimes that helps me look at things in a different way.
So, the offer letter to me is being drafted, and till i actually receive that i'm hitting PAUSE on any decisions, and trying to hit pause on 'research' unless that's fun for me.
One thing that would be good: I like our school district, but I'm a li'l concerned that for 6-12 grade there's ONE principal and no assistant; that they do a semester each of Math, English, Science, etc. Somehow there's not enough teachers or blocks to do all year long? IDK. I'll give it a chance but it's weird. If we do transfer midyear .... there will be challenges but also i will be a bit relieved. I met with the teacher for Work Reasons and there's always 'parent crossover' and i do feel that the teacher will do as much interdisciplinary as she can. Doing the best with what we've got should be school motto.
I guess T hates social studies!
