May. 20th, 2019 09:29 amI hit a new record for losing my car keys in an odd place (but did not make the top 3 for length-of-time missing). After i did some groceries which included a lot of house & pet stuff - i had the keys on the lanyard and was doing things for the rabbit - and so i put the keys on his roof. Which is why i couldn't find them in the house.
While i was searching i told Dan sadly 'i am the worst' and he said 'you're not the worst you just have to point your attention a lot of places.'
i feel kinda down today but only kinda. i have 2 main projects to do (one is tomorrow, one is in June) plus general operations & improvements & working ahead. I feel like i don't have the brainpower to do it all, so maybe i'll just focus on the Tomorrow Project.
I have an evening commitment tonight & wednesday which kinda sucks because i went on a work trip on Friday/Saturday - Robot Nationals - they were using our battle cage. Plus we had 2 teams from our competition there. So, I volunteered and tweeted and stuff. I didn't 100% have to be there, but i mostly had fun. I got a little bored but that was the worst of it which is no big deal. Last year i brought the family which i'd consider doing again. And to be honest fighting robots is really entertaining so i did the fan thing for our teams (who did well, did not make it to the semis but right before that.) Some of the bots flew up 10 feet and clanged back down with their 15 pounds creating (how much force) which kinda broke our floor after a while but it was fixable.
Sunday I took an extra claritin and I would NOT recommend it even when there's a pollen advisory. Ugh. I was weeding and started getting itchy and i said to myself "i know! extra claritin!" and then i had like most of the side effects that are textbook if you take too much antihistamine. Drowsy, lightheaded, uncoordinated. I just felt kinda crappy without being nauseuos. I took a brief nap and got better then did The Shopping and that brings me to when i lost my keys.
oh - one more thing - my armpit stings like a bugbite but there is no rash, no red spot, no razor burn (it's at the corner anyway), nothing obvious. It's hurt since last night. Thoughts?
