i made it so far!
Mar. 1st, 2019 04:08 pmnot quite the week from heck, but a pretty intense 2 weeks from a few angles. I got a green tea/kale/banana smoothie a little bit ago and guzzled it with a chocolate cookie....
i just did a job fair - 3-4 partner organizations = 1200 students - 55 companies (i did LOTS of networking which i call being friendly) but i also was on the Shark Panel for student presentations for the Innovation Seniors during the morning so it was 'set up booth, go to innovation school & be a Shark, then go back to career fair and smile & be friendly'. Also in order to be on time for the career fair setup i had to get the kids to school EARLY and sorta split the difference between my goal time & their usual start.
YESTERDAY was:
go to conference abbout educators & workplace. It was medium good. I was on a panel yay and 2 of our partner school districts were presenters. 100 people? 150? Lots of networking in between, some good notes, but preachin to the choir.
However, my newbie got in a major car accidnet when leaving and is physically ok but mildly traumatized. So, that's a thing. Not her fault or anything.
At the end of the day i needed to pick up my print materials and i did that but it was a Thing because they were late with it so i was almost That Girl complaining about it but they rushed & handled it. Then McDs only gave me one happy meal not 2 but we made it work.
Wednesday was a tour with 20 people and i had to perkily talk to teachers.
3-4 school phone calls this week with Ty dramas
2 nights in a row skunk free so that's pretty nice, i won't take that for granted
I USED ALL MY SOCIAL ENERGY AND PRAYER ENERGY THIS WEEK
