here's how my monday is going

i clogged the toilet and when i plunged it, i a) was not successful, it's still clogged and b) splashed a bit on my arm.

So, i feel sooo selfconscious about this, but i have to confess:

i would rather go to yoga and meditate with crystals than go to church. I doubt crystals themselves do anything, but they are pretty, and i like the lore & idea that you can hold a crystal. Honestly 'intentions' are just about the same thing. i like how new-age shops almost always smell and look godo and haev people thinking about peace & energy.

There's a coffee shop with that kinda stuff for sale up front and I wish it had expanded hours so I coudl drop in and chill, or bring Ty sometimes.

On a related-but-not-at-all note, we started reading Steven Universe comics via the hoopla app last week, and i was curious about the show so i watched a bit on youtube, then i decided we would love it and i bought season 1 on instant amazon. It. is. Charming. It's funny, wholesome, interesting, surprising. And the helper ladies are crystal gems. I do like that there's just NO explanation about what the heck is going on on that world of theirs. Seems like a future earth.
