A few small things!
Nov. 15th, 2017 08:59 amI'm not sure how I feel about this lavender deodorant; it's kinda strong and very like the plant - normally good, but you don't want to overdo it with that.
HOwever, i don't think i wrote about this - yesterday Ty had a feelings attack which is like a panic attack but instead it's just emotion and tears, so then I had feelings about that too which made me cry and I think gave me a sinus headache later. AND I recorded a dumb video for Ty about how much I love him etc. Probably no need or use for it. Anyway I think I hurt my face crying and then I had a Big Important Meeting, but oh well, stuff happens! But I did not get too much comfort food for meself accordingly. - SO, today I got a starbucks - eggnog latte. Ok, it's not my very favorite, having tried it, but it's good.
And I'm wearing my snuggly perfume - I don't think it's literal perfume -it's 'roll-on aromatherapy infused with rose quartz' and I have no clue how they think they did that, but it looks pretty and smells like sugar basically. It smells like snuggling.
When my dad was dying we talked about Grief Bacon - there's a german word for it I don't remember but it literally translates to grief bacon, which is when you eat comfort food basically (OR my aunt theorized that it also means, you get slow and heavy like bacon in your grief?). I think lack of daylight combined with many many clouds contributes to winter comfort foods.
I got mad at my computer mouse yesterday - it was lagging and I had to click super hard, it was driving me crazy, and the batteries were fairly new- so I dug out a wired mouse and I recently FOUND the old usb connector to my wireless keyboard and now I have a nice, ergonomic keyboard again. (It has a matching mouse which apparently made a home somewhere else?) But it types LOUDLY, to my ears.
I also had to pick up an online order at Kohls last night, and return a thing that had a high neck and gappy buttons - kwim? The neck made me uncomfy and the gappy buttons meant not good for work. So since I had to return exchange, I did a lil bit of shopping - I spent a lot of TIME trying to find something in the same color purple, but I failed. However I got a) A Rock and Republic long-sleeved tee that I feel honestly sexy in - black, with a red and green rose print with a cool strappy neckline and sleeves - b) an olive green blouse with a brassy zipper c)a nicely fitted pine green sweater with shimmer. It's not too schlubby for a sweater nor does it emphasize my tummy pooch. WIN
ANyway I'm sipping an eggnog latte, wearing my new shimmery sweater, got makeup and jewelery on and my snuggly perfume, and I feel pretty good is what I'm saying.
