holy crap, i wore some loop plugs while people were in a noisy meeting and it was so freaking restful. I loved it. I didn't actually do any "real work" because my brain is regenerating from some other stuff I had to do but I wanted to say semi-out-loud that, 'that was awesome.'

I'd been googling hypervigilance recently because of the involuntary listening to people thing. 

In wildlife news, nobody got a photo of the moose, but someone did get one of the bobcat in my neighborhood.
