Better and calmer today.
I realized I cried a little, like, five times yesterday - and was too freaking worn out to go to Rotary- plus I needed to wash my hair -and while cooking dinner I started doing weird distracted things.
Things that made me cry a little:
- a lovely video of a flashmob doing Beethoven 9/ode to joy. - although, tbh, until the choir comes in it's pretty repetitive.
- my office-mate's picture book called "some brains" - especially reading it on a day when my brain wouldn't slow down
- being frustrated about concentration
- being asked if i was okay (and a person nearby had a raised voice)
- talking about the above items
---
One thing Dan reminded me is that, like, grief is still a factor in all this, and I have a broken tooth (actually two, I just gave up on one of them), allergies, medication switch, and lack of sleep. Oh yeah. Perhaps losing mom might be affecting me? just maybe?
--
sleep:
I woke two people up with my snoring last night; that's fun. Meg once said I snore 'like a robot with lung cancer.'
-
Additional Life Factors that are stressing me out:
- still dealing with estate stuff - there is not a WHOLE lot right now but I got a 2k bill from her retirement saying they overpaid and would like some money back please; need paperwork from the state in order to do things with bank account and car. Creditors have 6 months from the time the court receives all their documents to request their money. If there isn't any money I can do a form that says 'nope.'
- Teeth - Lower right molar, I cracked it last week, then I think some of the root canal crud came out|? I cant entirely feel or see what's going on. I am TRYING to keep it clean and use the waterpik. I think it might even have a hole on top and then out the side, based on how things feel. There's also a hole in the upper left where a different filling came out, right next to my empty spot where i have an implant post. frickin teeth. But that's been vacant forever.
(I did make an appointment! yay! They can see me 4-24 unless stuff hits the fan I can get in sooner.)
I shall never eat whole almonds again.
OH what made mw want to write about teeth is this: Aspen sent me a bill for 900. My first reaction is, I was pretty sure I put a deposit down for work they never did - their computer systems corporate-wide crashed at the time I had my root canal last year - so I have doubts about this, but also, they probably think they have a reason for it. Gross. And here i am about to have more dental work. I wonder if they warranty their fillings because this is probably one of theirs I need fixed - however, I'm going to a private practice that everyone loves.
AND. I'm going to request that our accountant send us some of the estate just for dental and buying a frickin snowblower. This is all ridiculous.
